Manager – Library and IP Marketing
- Responsibilities
1. Manage the TSMC overall Library marketing program under Library and IP Program manager:
a. Engage with customers, TSMC sales, industry groups in understanding customer design services needs, and translate them into product spec
b. Provide marketing and technical leadership in defining product strategy and direction, and manage design service product lines
c. Create and execute product roadmaps and planning for library intellectual property.
2. Plan the product marketing communication event
a. Create contents marketing communication material such as brochure, roll-out manual, support manual
b. Implement promotion activities on TSMC online and other media
c. Schedule product roll-out at industry events.
3. Manage library procurement
a. Ascertain demand
b. Identify procurement sources
c. Compute and defend Procurement needs based on ROI
- Requirements
1. Master degree or above in Electrical engineering and/or computer science
2. Assertive, optimistic, and self motivated, with strong communication, business negotiation and presentation skills
3. Ability to lead cross functional teams in defining and executing on complicated tasks
4. Strong industry contacts with well developed strategic and tactical selling skills
5. Ability to generate innovative ideas and create long term corporate strategies
6. Strong interpersonal skills
7. Ability to communicate with senior management and clearly articulate ideas, trends, proposals, and status

2. Engage with customers and ecosystem partners to understand the market requirements.
3. Define the strategy and create the product roadmap to address the market.
4. Develop the execution plan for the engineering group and the ecosystem partners to implement
5. Deploy the solution to the market through outbound promotion activities.
Requirements
1. Master degree or above in Electrical engineering and/or computer science
2. Good understanding of the semiconductor value chain. Experienced in multiple segments along the semiconductor value chain is a plus
3. Min. 8 years of experiences in multiple segments along the semiconductor value chain.
4. Good interpersonal skills to understand the needs and motivation of others, and strong ability to achieve results through collaborations.
5. Good presentation skills to articulate the ideas and communicate them to different internal and external audiences.
6. Fluent English

Manager – Platform Marketing, Design Service

Manager – Sector Forecast
Responsibilities
This position has responsibility: to know the wired communication end markets and the IC markets served by TSMC’s customers; to develop a total market wafer demand forecast; to know each customer’s position and the competitive market dynamics; and to develop and keep current the TSMC wafer demand forecast.
The role may also guide process platform definition, explore and assess emerging markets, and advise management of market potential and appropriate penetration strategies.
Requirements
1. BS/MSEE or CS; MBA is desirable.
2. Fluent English; Mandarin is a plus.
3. ~5+ years of working experience in one of the following:
- Product manager or marketing role with communications IC vendors or systems companies.
- Specialist in technology and/or product market research and analysis.
4. Two-to-three years experience guiding and supervising junior personnel
5. Team-oriented individual capable of working effectively with staff in sales, marketing, technology and operations.
6. Excellent communication skills.
7. Solid business and marketing acumen with good analytical skills.
8. Hands-on and an eye for detail.
9. Ability to work and operate effectively in a very fast-pace environment.
